Historical Significance

 

As successful entrepreneur, changed the way two industries run promotions. First, the way  cereal is marketed in America.  Second, the way magazines are marketed at Newsstand via patented ThinDVD magazine cover/digital link technique for creating a 300% increase in Newsstand sales and doubling advertising revenue.

Set sales records every where I sold.  Built a 1000 store spinner rack chain selling 19 Million CDs from 1993 thru 2007 while publishing over 150 software titles as Rhinosoft Interactive.  Created a 1 Billion unique visitor  website as leading inspirational downloader.  Sited by Harvard MBA Case Study for innovative marketing.  Achieved USA's Top Ten Family Entertainment Publisher ranking, #1 Inspirational Publisher status.  Recent  work includes  Time Inc.'s Sports Illustrated Cover DVD.

1995 to1996:  New Man Magazine   Sold year schedule to Dodge Truck  w/o an ABC audit.

1990 to 1992:  Kalmbach Publishing  Astronomy Magazine National Ad Manager   doubled monthly pages to 48.

             Launched Earth Magazine selling 19 paid ad pages in pilot issue and 25 in opening issue w/o an ABC audit.

1989   Time Inc. Youngest account executive ever hired at Time Inc. at age 27. Opened GM as advertiser after a year hiatus.

1986 to 1989: National Geographic  Successfully sold magazine space for Traveler Magazine Division as well as Four Wheeler Magazine.

1984 to 1985: Detroit News  Sold 15% more retail advertising space than salesman of the year. Maxed out commission structure every time.

1983 to Observer~Eccentric Newspapers As first ever intern, beat quota by 31%, and created new quota for employee who followed - besting her by 40%.

1982 to 1983: NBA Milwaukee Bucks  Press room liaison to Bucks players during thrilling MU Internship.

1982 to  Milwaukee Journal Sold Space as Intern in Advertising Department- #1 out of 500 Applicants.
